Day: Sunday Date: June 5, 2016 Parshat: Bamidbar Yalkut Yosef: O"H: 210
In memory of Hannah bat Shelomo.
The Halacha is unclear regarding a person who ate half a kezayit of food, vomited and then ate another half kezayit within seven and a half minutes of the first half. Even though technically a full kezayit was eaten within seven and a half minutes, nevertheless, it is possible that since the food is no longer in the stomach of the eater it cannot be counted as part of the kezayit. Ideally in that case, in order to remove oneself from any doubt, another full kezayit should be eaten and an after beracha should be said. If that is not possible no after beracha is said.
