One Who Had More Than One Food Requiring Me'en Shalosh

One Who Had More Than One Food Requiring Me'en Shalosh
Day: Sunday
Date: March 6, 2016
Parshat: Pekudei
Yalkut Yosef: O"H: 208

As mentioned previously, a person who ate a kezayit of either grain based mezonot food, or fruits of the shiv'at haminim within seven a half minutes, or a revi'it of wine at once says me'en shalosh. For mezonot foods, the proper insert is al hamihya ve'al hakalkalah. For fruits of the shiv'at haminim the proper insert is al ha'etz ve'al pri ha'etz, and for wine it is al hagefen ve'al pri hagefen. One who ate more than one of these food items simply adds another insert to the beracha rather than saying me'en shalosh separately for each food. For example, one who had wine for kiddush and also had cookies, says al hamihya ve'al hakalkalah ve'al hagefen ve'al pri hagefen. If he had fruits of the shiv'at haminim as well the beracha becomes al hamihya ve'al hakalkalah ve'al hagefen ve'al pri hagefen ve'al ha'etz ve'al pri ha'etz.
