Answering Amen to One's Own Beracha

Answering Amen to One's Own Beracha
Day: Sunday
Date: July 3, 2016
Parshat: Korah
Yalkut Yosef: O"H: 214

It is improper for a person to answer amen to his own beracha. However, if multiple berachot are said together, is proper to say amen after the last one. Examples include; the beracha of yehalelucha said at the end of the full hallel, yishtabah during shaharit, hashkivenu during arvit, boneh yerushalyim in birkat hamazon, and others. After saying any of these berachot it is proper to say amen.
