Day: Monday Date: May 23, 2016 Parshat: Behar Yalkut Yosef: O"H: 208
The proper way to end off the me'en shalosh with the insert for mezonot is "Baruch atah HaShem al ha'aretz ve'al hamihya." It is improper to add words and end off with "al ha'aretz ve'al hamihya ve'al hakalkalah" as is printed in many suddurim. Even if one's custom has always been to say "ve'al hakalkalah," still it is proper to leave that part out and only say "al ha'aretz ve'al hamihya." However, one who for the line before the last wants to say "venodeh lecha HaShem Elokeinu al ha'aretz ve'al hamihya" instead of "venodeh lecha al ha'aretz ve'al hamihya" may do so.
